Hygge-Hugs mindful art
Bev runs a mindful arts studio in Maker's Yard, Aldershot, but this is an opportunity to visit her at her home garden studio where she creates mixed media art and larger pieces in wood, leather and fabric. Her work is influenced by her love of opera, literature and folk tales. She also has a deep love of history, traditional techniques and heritage fabrics which she uses to create 3D elements in her works. Beverley qualified with a degree in teaching with an arts and English specialism. Having left headship 3 years ago she has pursued her art more actively, experiencing significant local success. She is interested in arts education and the positive impact of the arts on mental health.
